WELCOME TO THE HOME OF THE WOODEND HAWKS BASKETBALL CLUB
The Woodend Hawks Basketball Club (WHBC) provides opportunities for players, Boys & Girls from U10 to U21 age groups, to play basketball in a supportive and encouraging community environment.
We strive to provide opportunities for the personal growth and development of all players, while also reinforcing positive influences, self-confidence, self-esteem and the ability to excel on and off the court.
Our domestic teams compete in the Sunbury Basketball Association (SBA).

PLAYER PATHWAYS
WHBC is dedicated to developing, educating and motivating each player. Starting at the Aussie Hoops program for beginners, right through to representative basketball and tournament teams for our advanced players, we are here to support each and every players journey.
We also offer our players the opportunity to take on official responsibilities such as umpiring, coaching and scoring.

VOLUNTEERS & TEAM SUPPORT
Woodend Hawks Basketball Club relies on volunteers to ensure we can give the players the best basketball experience possible. We highly encourage parents and family members of players to assist as coaches and team managers, however, there are off-court opportunities for anyone who would like to help!
All team support roles are guided with training and resources via our Coordinators, so no experience is necessary!
