PLAYER DEVELOPMENT

The WHBC operates in conjunction with the MRBA and other associations to provide player development pathways for girls and boys of all ages.

We strive to provide opportunities for the personal growth and development of youth athletes while also reinforcing positive influences, self-confidence, self-esteem, and the ability to excel on and off the court.

Aussie Hoops and Under 10’s

If your child doesn’t meet the age requirements for our youngest Under 12’s squad, there are several options to get them started!

The Aussie Hoops program uses a "game sense" approach where children learn basketball through playing lots of games and activities and is suitable for boys and girls up to 12 years of age and ALL abilities!
