ABOUT US
The Woodend Hawks Basketball Club was established in 2012, as part of the Macedon Ranges Basketball Association (MRBA), to provide opportunities for Woodend kids to play basketball. Our domestic basketball program is all about giving as many kids as possible an opportunity to play, learn and connect in a supportive and encouraging community environment.
Today we have junior girls and boys teams in age groups ranging from Under 12’s to Under 19’s. These teams compete each Saturday as part of the Sunbury Basketball Association (SBA), at various locations across the Macedon Ranges and Sunbury. Training sessions are currently held at Buffalo Sports Stadium, Woodend.
We still maintain a connection to the MRBA through programs including Aussie Hoops and representative basketball including Victorian Junior Basketball League and Junior Country Championships.

WHBC is always looking for parents and community members to join as committee members.
Without the help of volunteers each week our clubs cannot play.
