PLAYER READINESS & WAIT LISTS

The competitions that our teams play in are about participation. Competitions are graded, and the WHBC has a policy of equal playing time during each regular season game. We configure teams each season with consideration for each player’s skill and confidence level so that the experience is fun, fair, competitive, and constructive for development.

WHBC Coordinators do their very best to organise players into teams of 7 or 8, which means at times owing to constraints we are unable to place every interested new player in an appropriate team.
While we can’t offer these players a game on weekends, we invite them to join training with an appropriate age group team during the week until a roster spot becomes available.

If you plan to register your child for a Woodend Hawks team please ensure that you are familiar with the club’s team selection criteria and the SBA by Laws.

Simply contact the WHBC Coordinator to learn more about registering to play.
